Looking for a home should feel exciting, not confusing. At True North Property Partners, we aim to make renting a property across Blackpool, Fylde, Wyre and surrounding areas as clear and straightforward as possible.

From booking a viewing and submitting your application to signing your tenancy agreement and collecting the keys, our team will explain what happens next and keep you informed along the way.

Finding a Property

You can view our currently available homes through the property search on our website, or you can find us on Rightmove. Each listing includes the monthly rent, deposit, holding deposit and key information about the property.

If you cannot see the right home yet, register your requirements and we will let you know when a suitable property becomes available.

The Application Process

We want you to be confident that the property is right for you. Book a viewing through the website or contact our team if you have any questions before arranging an appointment.

If you would like to make the property your home, complete our online application form here. Please provide accurate and complete information so we can assess your application properly and avoid unnecessary delays.

Every application is considered individually and fairly. We look at your overall circumstances and regular income rather than applying blanket decisions based solely on employment type, benefits or a recent change in circumstances.

The documents required will depend on your circumstances, but we may ask for:

  • Proof of identity and Right to Rent
  • Your two most recent monthly bank statements in PDF format
  • Recent payslips or proof of employment
  • Evidence of benefits or other regular income
  • Accounts or an accountant’s reference if you are self-employed
  • Information about a guarantor, where required
  • Details of your current or previous landlord

We will tell you exactly what is needed and how to provide it securely.

Once we have the necessary information, we will prepare an application summary for the landlord. The landlord will consider the complete application and decide whether they would like to proceed.

If your application is selected, we will explain the next steps, including referencing and any holding deposit required. Please do not make a payment until we have provided the relevant information and instructions.

Referencing may include checks relating to your identity, income, credit history, employment and previous tenancies. We will also complete the legally required Right to Rent checks before the tenancy begins.

A guarantor may be requested depending on the application and affordability assessment. Where a suitable personal guarantor is unavailable, a professional guarantor service may sometimes be an option.

Once all requirements have been completed, we will issue your tenancy documents for review and signature. Before collecting the keys, you will need to pay the agreed tenancy deposit and first month’s rent.

We will provide clear move-in information, access to your documents and a welcome guide to help you settle into your new home.

Your PropertyFile account gives you secure access to important information about your tenancy, including documents and account details.

You can also use PropertyFile to report maintenance. Providing photographs and a clear description will help us understand the problem and arrange the appropriate response more quickly.
